I am Jen Heinrichs, a proud Reno resident since 2002 and an active member of the
community. I have a passion for giving back and have been involved with numerous
local schools, National Charity League, and have even been a foster parent for the
Nevada Humane Society multiple times. I am married to my husband Doug and we
have five adult children. Our family also includes two dogs, a cat, a grand dog, and
a grand cat. My true passion lies in teaching Pilates and Senior Yoga, and I am
honored to have received the Teacher of the Year award from Truckee Meadow
Community College for my efforts in keeping my Senior Yoga participants connected
and active during the pandemic. In my free time, I love spending time with my
family and friends, traveling, and taking advantage of all the outdoor activities that
Reno-Tahoe area has to offer. My husband and I are avid outdoor enthusiasts and
enjoy hiking, running, snowshoeing, and boating on Lake Tahoe. If you're looking
